LOTR is perhaps some of my favorite movies of all-time. It is full of epic-ness of win. Action and romance. Loss and happiness and sacrifice and joy and everything else that makes me feel nostalgic whenever I think about it. It truly is a great film series with awesome cinematography!! Think of it this way: LOTR3 won all 13 Academy Awards for which it was nominated, including Best Picture. I'm pretty sure LOTR is the only fantasy movie in Oscar history that has ever won best picture.

Peter Jackson is a genius & I applaud him.

Also... I AM SO EXCITED FOR THE HOBBIT!! I'm glad that it is being split into 2 parts... more happiness and amazing screen time for me to enjoy

I hear Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood, and Ian McKellen will reprise their roles. And Martin Freeman, who will play Bilbo, seems like a good Bilbo to me : ) Anyhow, I'm super excited.

Haha that's what I meant. Finding a day to do the LOTR fest will be even harder this year cuz I'm going to China and volunteering at the museum and at VBS, and I have a youth retreat & maybe I camp that I want to go to... D:
