Osama bin Laden dead

Everyone's heard of the news. So, what are your thoughts? Relieved? Happy? Shocked? Scared? All of the above?

Of course, I'm shocked. Amazed, in fact. Relieved? Yes. But also scared because this might invite backlash from the rest of al-Qaeda. Interestingly enough, I'm actually watching the news right now and they're talking about the "relief and hope that has spread across the nation". In a twisted sort of way, it's kind of screwed up that people are partying so hard about the death of bin Laden. But don't get me wrong, I'm kind of glad he's dead too.

Ah yes, bin Laden. I'm pretty much on the same boat as you. Relieved but scared... luckily, if al-Qaeda does choose to retaliate, it probably won't be anything big. In related news, a high-ranked member of al-Qaeda surrendered himself to the U.S.!
