Wanda and Flabs have been trying to get me to read a manga called Death Note. Supposedly its about a guy who find a special journal type thingy. If he writes some one's full name in it, that person dies. He tries to use it for "good" and only kill rapists and people like that. (But he gets a little carried away.) I've read several (as in over 20) chapters and I'm still not getting into it. Should I keep reading or is this just a waste of my time?

Have you at least met L yet? He makes the series cool, essentially. And you have yet to reach all the psychological / intellectual battling between L and Kira.

I HAVE met L, and I have seen some of L and Kira's intellectual battle. Its not that cool, and your obsession with L doesn't make sense to me. He is a smart character, but you make him seem like a ingenious god.

Hey, I'm not obsessed with L. Talk to the one who has little L figurines. (*cough Flabs cough*) Trust me, it gets LOADS better. And he IS ingenious, thank you very much.

OK maybe pugsfromhell is just not mature enough to read it ok?  CUz its fugging amazing!!! and as for the figurines, ilena got hetalia ones that were literally 60 dollars each. I paid 99 cents for 11 of them plus 20 dollars shipping so there XP |

It was SO worth it! they are so cute! and uh yes she did, i had to dig them outta the trash (luckily there was nothing nasty in there) thats why I lost the beloved Ryuk head.  |
